Yuan Da's production facilities are ISO9001 accredited and its geotextiles are produced in strict accordance with international standards including: strength, modulus, weather resistance, corrosion resistance and creep performance. Yuan Da's geotextiles are regularly tested by independent laboratories. The products are used under a wide range of environmental conditions in various countries, including Australia and the EU. Geotextile Fabrics

Yuan Da's products are manufactured to meet the strict mechanical and hydraulic requirements necessary to solve geotechnical and hydraulic engineering challenges. Their manufacturing processes are ISO 9001 accredited and their geotextiles are regularly tested by independent laboratories.

 

In China, Yuan Da has a high reputation for the development and application of geotextiles for civil engineering and construction. Appliations include: non-woven pump bags, dewatering bags, large geo-synthetic separation mats and dewatering bags.

 

Reinforced Stitched Non-woven Polyester Geotextile

Reinforced stitched non-woven polyester fabrics are used widely in Europe, the United States and Asia for stabilising coastal areas. These lightweight fabrics offer exceptional strength and can be manufactured to meet your specifications. They are very cost competitive compared to alternative fabrics and offer superior resistance to attacks by vandals.

Heavy Duty Reinforced Stitched Non-woven Polyester Underlay

Yuan Da's new heavy-duty reinforced stitched non-woven polyester underlay protects liners from abrasion, puncture and vandalism and also prevents long term damage caused by indentation from stony soils under high static loads. The underlay consists of two layers of non-woven polyester fabric, needle-punched to an inner layer of reinforced stitched polyester fabric.

Traditionally subgrades had to be well compacted and offer an even grade, free from sticks, stones and protrusions to prevent any damage to the liner. This new heavy duty reinforced stitched non-woven polyester underlay offers a competitive alternative for rock armour underlays for stormwater outfalls, marine scour pads, pond and dam geo-textile underlays, woodchip underlay pads and separation layers. It also delivers improved performance when welding HDPE on undulating surfaces.

Economical needle-punched, non-woven underlay

AAA Metal Suppliers can also supply a low cost needle-punched, non-woven underlay to protect LDPE and HDPE liners. This 550g/m2 geotextile is made from short fibre polyester fabric. It offers a very competitive alternate to existing products.

Polypropylene and Polyester Woven Fabrics

Yuan Da's woven geotextiles are available for subgrade separation, reinforcement and applications such as reinforcing soils where extremely high tensile strength with low elongation is required. Polypropylene Silt Fences and Floatation Curtains

Yuan Da's woven polypropylene silt fences and floatation curtains can be used as part of erosion control systems, such as: silt fences and traps, in dredging operations or on non-vegetated slopes as a temporary erosion control measure.

Needle Punched Composite Non-woven and Woven Fabrics

These composite fabrics consist of polypropylene UV resistant woven fabrics, needle punched to PET non-woven fabrics. This product has been widely used for the manufacture of filter tubes on large scale projects in China.

AAA Metal Supplies also offers a range of other high tensile woven and non-woven geotextiles for the construction of sediment filter tubes, dewatering and pump filter bags. Woven and non woven geotextile dewatering bags are used either to replace or complement mechanical sediment and sludge removal equipment.

Cuspated Drainage Sheets and Drainage Tanks

Cuspated drainage sheets

Yuan Da drainage sheets provide vertical drainage behind bridge abutments, retaining walls and in basements. They offer a cost effective option to the conventional use of aggregate to form a vertical drainage layer.

Yuan Da drainage sheets are made from a single or double cuspated High Impact Polystyrene core and coated with a high quality 140g/m2 non woven needle punched geotextile with a 150cm geofabric overlap along one edge.

Yuan Da drainage sheets come in a range of sizes from 1.2m x 30mm. For larger applications the sheets can be supplied in widths up to 3.4 metres. Alternatively, the dimples along the edges of the sheets are easily pressed together on site, to form a wider sheet.

Structural Drainage Squares/Tanks

Yuan Da's Structural Drainage Squares are suited to subsurface infiltration or water retention applications. Made from a blend of high quality PP and PE for added strength and durability, Drainage Squares are easily joined together to form a drainage mat or can be formed into blocks to fill a structural void. They are lightweight and ideal for the construction of infiltration tanks, sub surface channels and void spaces for rooftop gardens and planter boxes.

These drainage squares can also be supplied with a range of high-quality non-woven needle-punched geotextiles.

 

Geosynthetic Bentonite Liner (GCL)

Yuan Da's Geosynthetic Bentonite Liner or GCL is manufactured from high quality fabric using its own proprietary technology. It has been tested by international laboratories and used in major projects in China and in Italy, Spain and other European countries. Fibres from the upper non-woven white polyester fabric are randomly needle-punched through the layer of bentonite into the black polypropylene woven fabric beneath. This process results in an even, waterproof layer and a strong mechanical bond between the fabrics. The black under layer also makes it easier to check the stitching quality as the liner is being laid.

The granulated bentonite used in the liner also offers Occupational Health and Safety benefits when compared to GCLs made from powdered bentonite.

Yuan Da's Geosynthetic Bentonite Liner is available in grades from 4380g/m2 to 5500g/m2. The GCL is available in rolls up to 5.1 m wide with a clearly marked overlap-line along the edge of each roll. High quality bentonite can also be applied to the overlap line to create a water tight seam along overlapping edges.

The GCL is wound on a high-strength cardboard tube to prevent water absorption and loss of rigidity during transportation. Rolls are placed in a plastic liner, wrapped with high strength woven fabric and securely tied with webbing. Each roll in the container is separately numbered, e.g. 1/30. Lifting slings can be fitted on request.


Lining materials - HDPE, LDPE, PVC, EVA, EPDM

Yuan Da supplies a range of HDPE, LPDE and reinforced PVC lining materials. These liners are made from new materials (not recycled) and can be manufactured in varying thicknesses to suit particular applications such as:

  • Waste Water Treatment Plant liners

  • Ponds
  • Secondary Containment liners (eg: bunds)

Our HDPE Liner is available in a range of thicknesses and profiles - smooth, single side rough or double sided rough. Woven Polypropylene Bulk Bags

Yuan Da's range of woven polypropylene bags includes: U-Panel Bags; Circular Woven Bags with short and full loops; Coated and Non Coated Bags: PE Lined Bags; Square; and Round Type Bags. The bags come with several options: Open Top; Conical Top; Duffle Top; Filling Spout; Closed Bottom; Discharge Spout with petal closure or swan neck; Discharge Spout with diaper; Belt Lifting; Rope Lifting and Stevedore Lifting.
